"Mornings" by Cindy Iverson
For three years, I was a volunteer teacher for an early morning religious seminary for high school students. Most of the time, I left home for class before the sun was up. After class ended at a little after 7 o'clock in the morning, I would drive the short distance home to the sight of the newly dawning day. As I passed through the gardens I would often find something beautiful that I felt compelled to photograph. The unique beauty I repeatedly wanted to capture was always a result of the time of day--the dawn of a new day.
These morning dawn images remind me of the first verse of a hymn entitled "The Morning Breaks". I have included the verse below.
~~Cindy Iverson
The Morning Breaks
The morning breaks, the shadows flee; Lo, Zion's standard is unfurled! The dawning of a brighter day Majestic rises on the world.
[Text of hymn written by Parley P. Pratt, 1807-1857]

I love this one. December rosebud. Like a lamb out of season. So delicate and so very specila.
Willow needs to spell check!
